I have been lurking for a while now, and a couple of posts in the waiting room.

In 2006 I picked up 2004 TD GXL, after a bloke in town had driven it around Oz with small camper. He got back, his missues jumped straight back in their Statesman, and he put it on highway for sale just as I was driving past.
He had already fitted BFGs, but rest was as it came from dealer

Hi Daz, looks you you are more prepared for a trip around Oz than the guy you bought it off, well done, once the bug hits you just cant stop.

I know what you mean by spending all your weekends working on the truck, yesterday I went down to the shed at 9am & came back up to the house at 8pm after moding the cargo barrier to take a couple of amps for the tunes & wiring it up to power etc.

Been a bit of a lurker for some time after a colleague showed me this site, yes Mr Fungi*.... I tried to stay away from this site as much as possible so I wouldn't be yearning for my prado, well time is almost here...
Toyota tracking has it for 21/06 for pick up, so about a week after with the mods fitted

This is my Prado:

Year: GXL D4D option pk1 with reverse sensors Manual (wife & I can't stand auto's therefore this is now the best you get out of both 200 series & the 120 series, don't care about all the computer controls, simple fact is we like our left leg doing something, anyway I digress.... ops: )
Colour: Silver
Accessories: ARB Dual Battery, ARB Tow Bar, ARB Roof cage with mesh, ARB Bullbar with fog lights, Warn winch 9000lb, XGT lightforce, Safari Snorkel
Wishlist: sunraysia's or equivalent, suspension, BF A/T's, reverse camera, a few things for sure I've fogotten.

Hi,

My name is Tony and i live in Lismore NSW. I will be picking up my prado from the dealer wednesday the 2-7-08 not long to go and very excited.
The Prado is white in colour, D4D, 6 speed manual GXL, the genuine extras consist of soverign BB, tow pack, tinted windows, scotch guarded inside(for the 3 rugrats) and paint protection. I only have a set of Hella spoties to go on, but thats only for now.:lol:
