I just about pulled the trigger for the new Runva 11XPS.
      Nice looking bit of kit.
Seems from all reports to be top quality, great performance, reliability and the backup sounds exceptional with lifetime warranty.
Ticks all the boxes, winches in and out, screw cone brake, dyneema, etc.
Just waiting on a bit more info regarding gearbox rotation to line it up with the stupid little oval hole in the ARB Deluxe bar

Boomslang, I sent you a PM regarding your install.

      Cheers

I own 2X 12000lb tigerz both with rope. The one on my 4runner has been used extensively in comp use and extreme recovery for long periods of time with no sign of a problem. Logan challenge this year required winching of a second dead vehicle up a near vert 10m rock shelf and it dragged a 2T surf no hassles.

My other tiger is brand-new on the prado and they hav come a long way in the couple of years between the 2 purchases

They are offering a 5 year warranty with the 12000lb tigerz11 now also which is a bonus. Honestly the way I have treated my first winch I cant believe how good it has gone considering I paid about $700 for it when they first came out. They are definately worth the $800 now considering the 6.6HP motor, rope capacity and hawse fairlead.

The new one on the prado has a way better solenoid, terminals and controllers are better and the rope is better quality also. With any winch it is a good idea to give all the connections a good coating of rust inhibitor to protect the electrical connection.

Honestly there is nothing wrong with the chinese winches, every truck in our logan team ran a chinese winch including a 5yr old Audi special which performed fine. IMHO the only benefit of a warn is the brandname, pricing is ridiculous.

                                Cheers
