MLC we should leave it up to the Mexicans ( I hope they aren't offended by this term of endearment) to unduly elect a new Big Kahuna and move that discussion to the 4WDriving First Party thread. Don't forget mexicans that the position has the great honour of a free extremely rare and prestigous 4WDriving First Party bumper sticker.

I know there are a couple of guys who post almost exclusivly in the jokes thread are in the hundreds of posts, nothing wrong with that though, I get a great laugh out of that thread quite often.

I was probably thinking most about MLC when I said that though, take out all the jokes, the banter, the crude replies from his 3000+ posts and I think he has about 2914 posts that are truly valuable contributions

In relation to the search function..................Admittedly, a lot of results can be produced this way but as someone with limited mechanical knowledge, it just meant I learned things as I went through the results.

Number of posts really doesn't mean that much in the scheme of things, if you have 700 posts and 690 of them are in the jokes thread then your post count doesn't mean much.

Hmm, I just eat the jelly these days as I reminiss.

I'm still paying the price for suggesting some scantly dressed ladies washing the Prado in a drive through would make a good photo for the calendar.

Nothing sobers up your thoughts like the rants from SWMBO. Anyway, because I raised this again I will be contactable C/- the Dog House for the next few weeks.

PS: I suggested some of the female attendees at the GTG could do a "photo shoot" for this years calendar. That went down like a lead balloon.... and the women thought it was a bad idea too!

On a serious note in the past I haven't been a forum member this is the only forum I participate in. I have gained a wealth of knowledge and more importantly met and made a lot of friends through Pradopoint.

Yes sometimes I have had some less than favorable discussions but these have been far and few between and have resolved amicably.

So Mr. Starburst keep an eye out for the SE Qld trips that will arise and if you like attend and I'm sure you will see the value of the Pradopoint community.

I will continue to participate in the forum as it changes and look forward to the knowledge, friends and light hearted banter that it provides.

I find your comments "cutting" buts thats only because I had to actually look up your big word of "rapier". For a second I thought you had a copy of my criminal record, apparently not.... phew!

While nothing to do with this thread, the UNOFFICIAL protocol that is undocumented and not ratified by anyone suggests AJ must stand down as official Unofficial President and someone else be duly elected by dictatorship methods. So... who is heading up the next GTG and thereby becomes the next unduly elected unofficial Big Kahuna?
