I have a Weber Q120 as well. Bought it for Camping as we had a stainless steel 6 burner hooded BBQ at home.
Pretty much used the Q120 for any BBQing we did at home, day trips and camping. At Christmas we got rid of the 6 burner and bought a Weber Q320 for home so the Q120's job is just for camping and day trips.
They are a great BBQ very quick and with the accessories you can set it up to cook almost anything.

i just bought an adapter from Rays outdoors for $9 takes it from the standard screw in fitting on the regulator down to the smaller fitting with a tap . fits and works perfectly. the Q instructions will tell you not to use smaller than a 4kg gas bottle , but it works better than the 4kg bottle that i had and then you can use it with different sized bottles .actually its 2 pieces , a tap fitting , then a step up piece , i just checked

Anyone ever use one of these bbqs? http://www.anaconda.com.au/Product/C...r-Portable-BBQ
They have a discount at Anaconda atm.

It's quite a decent size and bigger than the Weber Baby Q100 too. The lid is nice and deep so you could do a roast in it I reckon.

Another vote for the Weber Q.....great for roasts (with a roasting tray), agree best steaks ever!!.....and I can fit a small two person camp oven in (I have a Baby Q with the high lid) and it works a treat. I also have the Weber Grill Plate for Eggs, works "ok", probably the only downside.

Terry..I bought one of these but from Aldi for @$70. I went to Anaconda that week they were on special (just branded differently, different badge) and they had the them on a super special for one week only at the same price...go figure!!

Look, I've only used it once and it's OK. You have to cook with the lid down to retain the heat. Bought it just for the 4wd for day trips/camping.. Could not justify anything else!! I too bought an adaptor to take it down to the smaller fitting to fit a 4kg bottle although the instructions say don't do this!!! I'm unsure if it would cook a thick steak well....although it's very possibly no worse than all those electric BBQ's you see around parks. I only cooked snags on it and they came out perfect.
If I was doing it every day maybe I would have bought a weber but for my needs it seems OK for now?? Would not pay anaconda full price for it....wait till Aldi have it @60 -70 then go to Anaconda..oooh to work in retail!!

Have a Baby Q its great, I like the burner setup so jets are covered when cooking.
If the Weber`s are got from a specialist dealer, the have a bigger lid with temp gauge.
                      Cheers

Thanks, I ended up getting the everdure bbq buddy, cooked some snags on it last night, its okay i guess i haven't owned any portable bbqs before, its a bit of a pain to keep the onion on the hot plate because it has no lip, and the channel in the middle for the fat is huge hard to stop things falling in it, but it will do.

Put the onion in a small aluminium tray (one of those disposable ones), it should still cook through that.
