Actually, I reckon the Techstream could work in your favour. If the owner can keep an eye on things then when they require attention they can take it to a good mechanic like yourself and get it fixed properly. The alternative is without the device, their injectors fail causing damage that Toyota wants a ton of money to fix.Originally posted by Talktheroo View PostDave

G'Day I have a question with the vehicle connection wizard. It automatically comes up with KDJ for Model Code. For Vehicle spec it comes up with 1KDFTV.
Under Option what do I select:
0908-1007
1007-1110
1110-1206
1206-1308
1308
-0608
or
0608-0908
Some have sub menus when you select them.

In selecting the model year, the first two digits represent the build year, and the last two the month.
Pick the range, that you build date is between.

I don't know if it is coincidence but if you go to toyodiy.com and select
a 2008 Prado and then injector pump for instance you will notice at the top
left of the screen 0608.
If you do the same for a 2011 it shows 0908.
Could be pure coincidence or possibly a model code?

I selected the last one Since mine was Aug 09 after reading a link on Hilux forum. All working.
I have an Aug 2009 GXL with 104500km on the clock. My injector feedback values are as follows:
Inj 1# .3
Inj 2# -1.6
Inj3# 1.8
Inj4# -0.8
Injector volume 10.3

Was that build date or compliance/delivery date. Mine is registered and complianced as January 2009 but the build date is November 2008. It didn't get off the boat at Fremantle until first week of January 2009.Originally posted by winniliss View PostDave
