  • Amazing what you can tow with a 150 Prado

    Sorry I couldnt help myself, the photo op presented itself, and it was too good to refuse

    My Rig: 150 GXL D4D, Tough Dog adjustable suspension with 60mm lift, Polyair bags, ARB Winch Bar, Warn Winch with Dynamica Rope, Outback Ideas recovery points, GME UHF, HID Low/High Beam, Lightforce Genesis HID Spots, Dual Battery Setup with rear power outlets, ARB air compressor in engine bay, ~30L Watertank mounted behind fueltank.

    Good luck getting the brakes to release on the trailer... :-/

        You mean that even if he could release the spring brakes it wouldn't have enough grunt to move it anyway?

            the trailer is on wheels, not a big deal to move it, uphill or downhill really scary... i towed a lorry with freezer half empty about 10 km with my 2.7 prado. i refused to go downhill though for obvious reason hehe

                Try towing a coaster bus with a 3cyl Daihatsu Charade...lol Yes it can do it, as I did it many years ago.
                97 VX Grande, with front & rear air lockers, ARB Sahara winch bar with tigers 11 winch, 2" EFS lift, 265/75/16 Achilles Desert hawk XMT, and more.
