        I just used some short 8mm bolts with a washer either side of the plastic and double nuts on the teeth side, doesn't look anywhere near as pretty but works well, and if some nob spins it up heaps it just tears his tyres up not my trax

            just had a thought, some screw in tags off a pair of footy/soccer boots would be a good replacement cheap and readily available to

              I had considered the football studs. So long as you can get a suitable nut to screw to attach it. Also might stick out too far making it hard to stack them. I agree, that they are a very cheap.

                How about delrin? Would that be tough enough? Certainly easier to machine than SS (cheaper).
