I hadnt needed to access the case for about 10 days and when I did, I found that my 5 litre container of coolant had split and emptied into the bottom of the spacecase. This had become a washing machine! anything that was cardboard (the box that my replaced alternator was in, the box my bottle jack was in and a few other bits) had become sludge that was through everything! including both filters that were on boxes and plastic bags! Bah!!!! Took me 3 hours to pull everything out, clean it down and put back. Insulation & duct tapes, Silver seal cannisters, impact drill, the list goes on! recommend you put these things in individual zip lock bags to separate should this type of thing occur!

    Lesson learnt....
Didnt end up something like this did it?

Very much so... Couldn't believe how the cardboard sludge found its way into everything.

Try a good disposals store as well, a lot have the olive drab ones. I have a couple of large ones (from my previous life/job) but they come in a lot of different sizes including low profile ones.

Not that this thread is about Ultimates but I love the shelf you have added to the kitchen of your Ulti. Nice work, might do the same to mine.

Not sure of the spot, but did you want me to deal with that kid leaning on the pride and joy? Kids these days - no respect...

              Thanks guys.

Seems the Rhino and Space case (made under the various names through time) are the go. I will suss out Bunnings and the disposal stores and then measure up for the best fit size. Still not decided on 1 or 2 smaller, advantages for both. On the downside, it would be unfair to squeeze the missus into a small one on a very long trip...

Thanks, shameless thread hijack I know.. The shelf Ulti fit to the newer ones imo are too wide, I did look at buying one when they first started making them. Are you on the Ulti forum?

MLC could you utilize the rear footwells to store such items in smaller containments?

I will send my people round, better advise the wife, they take the loss of a sibling hard. Recommend a free hairdoo to help her get over it quicker.

Troy, that space is already taken, Lea may be small but her travelling necessities are not.

Anyway, no problem with thread hijacking, its not like I haven't been known to add a little humour (attempted) when posting my wealth of knowledge and experience.

I decided on a 900mm x 550mm x 400mm Pelican in drab grey. The missus made me change the special order at Bunnings from my preferred colour of yellow.

Also spotted AJ at the Mile End Bunnings store. Wasted 5 minutes after looking for his Prado, but he decided to drive the Rav to town. Bloody long way to go to a bunnings if you ask me.
