I think it is defiently worth it, the only people who will say other wise are those without it lolOriginally posted by Mushie View PostI am looking into a new Prado as well. I would like to know from someone who has used the KDSS on their thoughts. Is it really worth it??
It can take some work finding Someone that can install a suspension lift but it can be done with out Much fuss
It is one of those things people over look yet it's something that improves drive quality a lot, only something that is noticed every time the car is used

Definitely, IMHO
Have just ordered my new vehicle to be delivered early next year, to replace my 2010 LC150 VX, but new VX does not have KDSS so after consultation with SWMBO I was allowed to order the Limited version, Kakadu in OZ. I really wanted KDSS, minimises body roll and great when towing, seemed to keep the vehicle level, suggest you check the TOYO web sites for an explanation of what KDSS does and how it works. If you can afford it then get it !Originally posted by Mushie View PostI am looking into a new Prado as well. I would like to know from someone who has used the KDSS on their thoughts. Just to confirm....$62990 Drive away?Originally posted by Snouto View PostSounds expensive - how much do the tow pack & mats go for? My first quote with no haggling was $62990 and I reckon that'll come down to at least $62k. So the tow pack & mats want to be worth about $5k.

Looks like the GX still has a 5490 GCM, no mention of GCM on other grades but all still show a 2900 GVM and a Kerb weight 10Kgs MORE than current model??

It is tougher to get a deal on a new car at launch but I have some fool proof tactics that have worked in the past. I work for an engineering company so I use our fleet company to get a quote, I also engage 3 car brokers and then use the 4 quotes as leverage at 3 different dealers. Visit dealers out of the CBD as pricing is sharper. Usually end up with 15-20% off RRP which is better than a kick in the ballsOriginally posted by Snouto View PostRegarding that price you haggled to - I was offered a new GXL stock without leather for $62990. Did you have to do anything much to get the cost below that? I have a feeling this is the price most - if not all - people get but would be good to understand other people's experiences. I was considering pushing for nudge bar, front sensors and rubber mats throughout but if I've already done well (on average) to get $62990 it'll be a struggle.

It seems they have reacted to the market trend and made the rear locker Std from the Gxl up
I guess the GXL has become better value to maybe tackle the rising Everest Trend sales - thow they are still 4-1
I was shocked they still kept faux wood trim on the kak really is unsighly and looks cheap
Dropping KDSS from the VX is a bummer

Looks like Toyota haven't properly updated their website. When you go to compare the different grades the pics are updated but the specs are still old with the 4.0l engine still showing.
