I suppose what i'm getting at is: what's the difference? I can just as easily touch up dark paint as light paint. Any more light you can shed on this will be useful to me, cheers

the only thing worse than a DPF issue is watching that wankers video - how annoying.

No......but they now give you a colourful laminated card with the Owners Manual on what to do if the warning light comes on (drive at least 60kms/h for 30mins). If this doesn't work go to a dealer. The wife's Hilux is now 10months old with 15,000kms on the clock and we've had no issues, probably because it gets a good run a few times a week.....i've heard many times that a blocked DPF is a symptom, not the problem! An interesting video to watch is this one https://autoexpert.com.au/posts/the-...s-dpf-problems by John Cadogan on the issue.

Hah it’s all good, the big K was just a tad out of my price range so nothing I can do about it. It does sound a lot better though

Are you sure its a weak high beam - or is the low beam so bright that the high beam has little extra to offer? I fitted LED to my 120 and that seems to be the case with it.

Yes, very solid......in the past the Toyota Nudge bars have been alloy and mounted at one point on each side......these new ones have 2 mounting points each side using good sized steel brackets and large diameter Stainless Steel tube. As i've mentioned before, the only thing i'm disappointed with is the way the parking sensors are installed and lack of some sort of cover over the original number plate position on the bumper.....both these problems i've already worked out how i'm going to fix.

There are 3 buttons with 5 selections.....Comfort, Eco, Normal, Sport S & Sport S+......didn't bother trying the Comfort(softens suspension) or Eco(maximises low fuel consumption). Pressed the Sport S button(maximises engine and transmission response) and WOW!!! It's like cracking a whip, completely different Prado to drive, it's incredible the extra acceleration response from the engine and transmission! Then pressed the button again and it goes into Sport S+(maximises engine, transmission, steering and suspension response)......BLOODY HELL!! now that's FUN to drive!!! Driving Mode Select + KDSS......makes it worth every cent spent on the Kakadu, only criticism is it defaults back to Normal mode after every re-start.
I wish you hadn't told me this....
