      Our trip to ARB

Had the car at ARB for a couple of days this week and then Toyota for the 1000km service and to get the tow bar fitted...

      OME springs and shocks
      Safari Snorkel
ARB Deluxe Bar with fog lights
Winch fitted (already had this so not brand spanking)
IPF Spotties (already had these so not brand spanking)
Kaymar rear wheel space and HF antenna bracket
Still waiting for the battery tray to arrive.

The lift from the suspension upgrade was a bit more than the 50mm expected. It is more around 80mm so the wife is having a little bit of a winge about it but I have told her it will settle back to 50mm with time ;-)

Finally managed to get the sticker on the back of the car.

Toyota stuffed up our quote to fit the tow bar so we only ended up paying less than a grand fitted. :-)

Got our roof rack sorted today - Got the windcheatah. Fitting it was not as bad as I thought but it did take about 2-3 hours.

            Looking very nice.

I'm still undecided on whether to go a colour coded bar or just black when the time comes. Both options look good.

I know the feeling well. We had a real hard time choosing but in the end we are very happy with the bar. It all just comes down to what you want and not what others like because you have to look at it all the time. I think it might just be me being lazy but I knew bug splatted over a nice white bar would have me out there clean the bloody thing every second day. Still love the look of the white bar but it came down to 49/51 choice in the end.

Life is too short for spending time on cleaning bars.

ARB Compressor mounted in the engine bay. I decided to put the switch next to the compressor rather that in the cab.

Nice. There won't be too many getting around with fluro yello recovery points.

This is the first time i've seen your build. You certainly haven't skimped on anything. Good stuff.

Thanks Mike. I wasn't too sure about them being yellow and all, but decided I could always paint them black if they look shyte.
Once installed I was pretty happy with the look and the boss didn't flip out when she saw them.

Got bored on Saturday so decided to fit some of the ABR gear that I had ordered in.

This should be handy when the fridge is in the back - to keep an eye on the 2nd battery level.
