                • After my little 4000k excursion last week my rear shocks had literally the crap beaten out of them, (they were basically new before the trip).
Mostly due to the silly speeds I was maintaining over dirt and rocky roads .

And the fact that I stupidly faced the adjusters inboard and they coped a hiding, one broken and the other wrecked.

I rang the Tough Dog guys looking to buy some new adjusters and they gave me a couple new ones and a third as a spare for FREE........those guys are cool.

Cleaned them up fitted new adjusters, coat of paint and remounted them with the adjusters facing outboard so they sit inside the rim and well protected.
A little harder to adjust (but not much) but well protected.

So remember, if youre going to fit adjustables, make sure the adjuster is facing outboard

Do you think Andrew might powdercoat my bash plate silver

                          • No, leave amts plates black. Its the ARB ones that should be silver as a continuation of the bar!

                            • Yeah, leave them black I reckon

Mind you, thats what everybody said about the plates until I had mine "accidentally" done silver!

                              • After 6000k's, 4000k's of which was partly getting a flogging through the Flinders, Gammon Ranges, Strzeleki, CC etc my front suspension has settled a little.

Im now sitting at 780-785 at the front.

Theres only one thing for it now and thats another lift

Another 20-30mm is in order I reckon.

                                Here we go again!
