Hey Alberto nice looking rig mate, just a question, the shot of your strut showing the lower bushing, is that meant to look like that? Looks like some of the bushing is squeezing out and I may be wrong, hopefully I am.

Nothing special just heading up to Burrum Pt on Anzac Day for the rest of the week. Will try to get into Kinkuna if it is open by then. I guess the sand tracks will be pretty firm but the clay pans the other side of Bundy won't!

Thanks mate. The pic was one I nicked off someone else's build thread, I think maybe Hutch? Not sure. Anyway, that is the pic I used to show TJM what I was talking about and what I wanted. The pic with one spacer is mine, I haven't had a chance to photograph mine after it was fixed. Thanks for the heads up though, much appreciated.

Sounds like fun! You are right about the clay around Bundy, that should provide you with hours of entertainment!

Haha to easy mate, thought it would be really weird considering you didn't get them fitted all that long ago :-)

Their was an issue with rubbers but all has been resolved. Mine did look like that but all fixed.

To easy hutch, they looked rather ordinary in that pic, and was even more concerning when I thought they were albertos rig as he only just had them fitted. :-)

                            OK,

Haven't updated this for a while. No major changes, but a couple of smaller things (ideas stolen from other more knowledgeable PPers!).

I purchased a TG150 Actuator Guard from Brains. Awesome bit of gear, easy to install with great instructions and price.

I then fitted a set of Wetseat Covers. I had fronts only on my old car and they were awesome. I ordered the universal fits for the front and custom made ones for the back. The fronts fill well, but I was amazed at just how well the rears fit. They were a deadset biarch to fit, but it looks like it came from the factory that way.

When I had the TJM suspension fitted, I opted for the medium rate springs for a comfy ride. This is great 90% of the time and the ride is exactly what I was looking for, however after loading it up for camping a few times and towing our caravan (approx 190kg towball weight) I decided that the rears need just a little bit of help. The drop with weight was not huge, but it was noticable - so I purchased a set of Coil Rite airbags. I was a bit hesitant to fit these myself, however after seeing another PP member (Brock05) fit his, I was comfortable to give it a go. It took a couple of hours as I worked out what I was doing, but in the end it was fairly easy...

And no I did not end up using the dodgey looking stands on top of the wood in the pics. Initially I did rest it on the ones in the pic and it took me about half a second to work out that was just not right. I ended up buying a set of 5,000kg adjustable stands that were high enough to do the job properly
