Which winch did you fit? I had the same problem with my Tigerz11 and bolts, just went down to Bunnings and bought some longer ones. Just take the winch nuts with you to make sure you get ones with the correct pitch; I had to do this as the Tigerz11 uses a squared off rather than a standard hexagonal nut.

It's a Ridge Rider (Supercheap) winch - it's got the squared off nuts too, so I will take one with me.Comment

I couldn't find the same type of nuts in Bunnings but bolts should be easy enough to match.Comment

I was at a Car Club (Tasmanian Rally State Championship 3) in the Florentine Valley area, lots of snow up high and some on the access road. Pulled the winch apart today to rotate the gearbox. Hopefully I've got it set to where I need it. Thanks to the link from myswag.org ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nt-VpTs4AUY )

WooHoo, got the winch on the bar now. Just got to fit cable, controller etc. properly.
Have disconnected it at the moment, as I'm planning on dropping a new battery in soon, so haven't frigged around to mount the electrics permanently.Comment
