Dual Battery Install
Started cabling the Dual battery system last night. Still need to install the cabling to the rear but the fiddly stuff is done. Also installed Leigh's Booster which will help look after both batteries by providing healthier voltages (now charging at 14.5-14.6V) here's a few pics.
Cabling to Battery - Not completely happy with the routing of the cables to the Battery. Just trying to decide on a tidier way. Also need to replace the temp bolts with something more suitable
Manual Reset Cabling to Breakers completed. Just the 6 B&S and 6mm² to run to the rear,Plus a 6 way Dist panel also installed for cleaning up accessories under the bonnet
Redarc SBI12 all completed and I have terminated my Projecta Dual Batt Monitor wiring at this location too.

Projecta DBM100 Dual Battery Monitor installed. I can see this easily at a glance through the bottom LHS of the steering wheel..

The Prado is now booked in for its Drifta drawer solution to be installed on Monday July 8. Whilst I could have had them shipped up and fitted them myself, I thought I'd take the opportunity following LFaR's lead and make a short road trip out of it. So the plan is to drive down to Gloucester on Saturday and do the Barrington Tops on Sunday before an early Monday fitup of the Drawer system before heading home. So if anyone wants tag along, or if you're local to the area and would like to show me around, you're more than welcome to join me. I'll post something up in the trip planning section.2004 V6 Grande. Nearly got my Dual Batt Install completed tonight with just the Fuse Panel cabling remaining. Had a bugger of a time running cables to the rear as it was pretty tight. Ran the 2 x 6 B&S in a single 16mm Split tube the whole way as the cables were not double insulated. The 6mm twin was double insulated so I only ran that in split tubing under the bonnet.
Under the Bonnet
And the Rear Power Panel which has Volts & Amps displayed so I am able to check how much the Fridge is drawing. Also have the Anderson Plug for either plugging in the Solar Panel or a 3rd battery.

Battery Clamp
Wasn't happy with the Battery clamp that was provided with the Dual Battery Tray as it's not much better than a plasti-coated Coat hanger. The plastic coating tends to peel off after a while and rust and then most likely fail so I got a replacement made up using a bit of angle and the top edge ground down to smarten it up. Much happier now.
Old Projector Clamp
New Clamp - Much stronger!
