Today I mounted a steel roof platform that I have made. I'm thinking I will modify the mounting brackets for the light bar as it sits only around 5-6mm off the roof and with some vibration and weight on it I think it will end up rubbing on it. Here are a few pics of how it has turned out!

cage looks good mate, agree with the gap thats the first thing I thought, uh oh it will hit. A mate recently built sliders on his brand new ranger and built them too close to the sills. After vibrating he has dented them up so def worth fixing that!

Modified the mounts for the light bar on the roof platform today. Light bar is now around 30mm clear of roof. Much more comfortable with the positioning now and no chance of the roof getting damage..

I Also had enough spare time to whip up a drawer for my rear storage shelf over the last day or so. Still some finishing touches to be completed.
