I set the cargo barrier as far foward as the seats would allow. We run two car seats so the rear seat is set at a normal seating position. This is not straight up but just angled slightly back.
There is adjustments with the brackets if you needed to have the rack back further to allow for the angle of the seats.Tasmania 2015 GTG Committee Member 2005 Prado Pilbara, Sovereign Bar, Driver & passenger weathershields, UHF TX3220, Spare wheel spaces, Lifestyle rack, Genuine front & midrow seatcovers, Genuine front & midrow rubber floor mats, ARB 47 litre fridge/freezer, Hilux washer jets, BF Goodridge A/T, Radiator protection plate, Dual battery tray and isolator, ARB 2.5m awning, Rhino heavy duty areo bars, MSA rear wheel bin, MAXTRAX

I've got the Autosafe barrier also and reckon it is a good bit of kit. The ease of install and no drilling required is what sold me also.NOW FOR SALE!!! - 2004 Silver GXL 3lt 4spd Auto - ARB Bullbar, Safari Snorkel, Redarc Dual Battery System, Cooper ST MAXX, Dark Tint, IPF900XS spots, Raised Bilstein/Kings Suspension/Firestone Airbags, Autosafe Cargo Barrier, Sandgrabbers, Rola Roof Rack Stuff, Insect Screen, Dust/Wind Deflectors, Sheepskin/Black Duck Seatcovers, GME TX3510, ARB underbonnet compressor, Allied Hammer Rims, ARB UVP, AJ Sliders

Picked up an earth bus today to fit with the power distribution block. Hope to get it fitted tonight to see how it all looks. Need to then determine how to drill? the holes into the inside to fit the merit/cigar power outlets. Not sure what others have used but am looking at using hole saws.Tasmania 2015 GTG Committee Member 2005 Prado Pilbara, Sovereign Bar, Driver & passenger weathershields, UHF TX3220, Spare wheel spaces, Lifestyle rack, Genuine front & midrow seatcovers, Genuine front & midrow rubber floor mats, ARB 47 litre fridge/freezer, Hilux washer jets, BF Goodridge A/T, Radiator protection plate, Dual battery tray and isolator, ARB 2.5m awning, Rhino heavy duty areo bars, MSA rear wheel bin, MAXTRAX

Well I got around to getting a mate to give me a hand and we finally fitted and wired up the second battery and distribution block.

The isolator has been in for a while but all neatly wired up now.

With power going to the back a circuit breaker from ABR Sidewinder was installed.

Here is the battery all wired into place. Went a for a battery with twin posts to make the wiring neater.

Since we are going to the GTG it was a good time to get a suspension lift to ensure safe clearance and also I felt the Prado was getting to low to the ground.
Well after much thought and delibiration I decided to go with OME and fitted the following; Front shocks- 90000, Front springs- 2884, Rear shocks- 60004, Rear springs- 2896
It now looks like I have gone from a low rider to a high rider, the lift has raised the vehicle 70mm all round.
Originally; FL- 731, FR- 730, RL- 766, RR- 766
Now; FL-800, FR- 802, RL- 835, RR- 835

Just goes to show how much it had lost in height over original.
The only issue I have found so far is that it will no longer fit in the garage with the east west bars fitted.Tasmania 2015 GTG Committee Member 2005 Prado Pilbara, Sovereign Bar, Driver & passenger weathershields, UHF TX3220, Spare wheel spaces, Lifestyle rack, Genuine front & midrow seatcovers, Genuine front & midrow rubber floor mats, ARB 47 litre fridge/freezer, Hilux washer jets, BF Goodridge A/T, Radiator protection plate, Dual battery tray and isolator, ARB 2.5m awning, Rhino heavy duty areo bars, MSA rear wheel bin, MAXTRAX

Thanks for that. It was a bit of work but once a template was formed it was a lot easier.Originally posted by Palmer View PostDo like the fuse box in there VKTasmania 2015 GTG Committee Member 2005 Prado Pilbara, Sovereign Bar, Driver & passenger weathershields, UHF TX3220, Spare wheel spaces, Lifestyle rack, Genuine front & midrow seatcovers, Genuine front & midrow rubber floor mats, ARB 47 litre fridge/freezer, Hilux washer jets, BF Goodridge A/T, Radiator protection plate, Dual battery tray and isolator, ARB 2.5m awning, Rhino heavy duty areo bars, MSA rear wheel bin, MAXTRAX

You have some pretty neat ideas there VK. I hadn't looked at your rig build before now, but the way you have done the rear fuse block is great. I am yet to do mine as well (have temporarily got power to the back in a 6B&S cable, but that is way overkill for a 12v socket on its own and I will split it eventually, when I work out future electrical mods for the rear... (basically LED lighting options)
When I bought the power through for the fridge I ran a second set of power cables from the auxiliary battery at the same time to save the future need - I ran these through the chasis rail, and though worth it in the end, it was a fair job to get done.
Will be very keen to compare rigs when we finally catch up...2009 White KDJ120R Manual fitted out for family camping and touring - See my Rig Build at http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27887-Smithy-s-Rig-Build
