The front height is sitting at 830mm from bottom of rim to guard and the last wheel alignment was close to not working.
so I pulled the trigger on the UCA’s and spacer. Had a wheel alignment completed and is now “in spec” and drives so much better.

Interesting, I'll measure mine but I think ARB checked it all when I had them replace the front 2 shocks.

      Full shot looks good.

Dual batteries finished. Twin 100ah Century Overlanders, Redarc 1225D and 6 B&S cable. Wired up myself after a lot of reading. Also put a couple of USB ports in the back for the kids. Probably more for me because when three iPads die on a road trip at once it’s jihad in the car.

Installed a complete new circuit for the USB’s with twin 4mm cable and ran direct to the aux battery for full time charging.

TJM HD compressor installed. After much deliberation I installed it high as possible to the left splash guard on the ARB bull bar. I then ran a 10mm air line and nitto fittings and installed a tee fitting to run air to both sides right between the two tyres. Thus only needing to carry a small hose to air up. Used a Stedi switch and it looks at home with the factory Toyota gear.
              photos to follow.

My concern would be water related, not only the obvious creek or river crossing but how protected the air inlet would be in some of the rain events we get.
I was surprised at how wet everything was behind my ARB Summit bar after the last lot of rain, the reason I looked was my front sensors were on constantly after hitting decent water on the road. Have you fitted a remote air intake?

I had given the water issue a thought however I just can’t think of anywhere else to install it. I created I post and ask but I got no responses. I might have to make a splash guard around it.
i think a remote air intake my be a must do as well.

                    • Build look good mate! Just a question. With the main battery you replaced it, what size is it ? N70? Did you need a larger battery tray ? I am thinking of upgrading mine for when I get my winch

                      • Hi Gurilla, I did buy two larger battery trays for the twin N70 batteries and it was a pain to try squeeze them in. So i just did away with all battery trays. No problems so far.

                        • Hope this isn't a dumb question. I have just bought a new Prado (2020). For the climate control to work do I always need the air conditioner turned on? Will it heat up in cold weather without the air conditioner being actioned?

                          • Hi bobking1,

our 2019 Prado heats inside without aircon tuned on. If we want the windows demisted quickly, we turn on the aircon. Maybe then we turn it off, depending if windows stay demisted. The dual heat settings seem to work without the aircon. Of course, cooling below outside temperature needs the aircon.

                            • For climate control to work then A/C will need to be on, I think you will find once you select a temp setting the system will switch on the A/C as required.
