Gordo, I have a combined UHF/27Meg CB unit. It does away with having 2 sets of everything . Been a while since I bought it and not sure if it is still available. Most people seem to only use UHF now.

      Gordo,
I have a combined uhf and CB and even separated front face and main body, see "The little things" dirttracker for mount position. I also note that the next new thing is to have the channel selection in the hand set. Very effecient and simple.
      Cheers

My 'gold' for this thread. When mounting torches or anything round for that matter, rather than using the clips with the possibility of the item becoming dislodged, I prefer these clamps. ARB sells them.

Here's one that's a bit out of left field.

This time of year I spend heaps of time covering kid's school books.

Add 3 parts of Pradopoint trip pics, equal portions of a colour printer and a dash of budding artist ... and here is the result ...

                      Cheers

Top Stuff Urbancowboy, go the Bling :!: 8)

I can see that being very useful for parking on the beach at night chasing a few jew fish ... really make other 4x4s notice you and slow down.

Hook them up to the dual battery and leave on at night when you're camping, that way you'll always find your campsite ... even if you've had a few

                                I tried this today..

It's adjustable for different widths of sidewalls. Does a top job on the tyres, but another use for it is cleaning the plastic bits on a Sovereign alloy bar. They come up looking brand new..

                                My 3 cents.

                                Cheers,
Easily the best tyre cleaner on the market, I've used it for a few years now. It actually lasts for a while too.
