I hate drilling holes in the Prado, so I think (although expensive) this works really well for me. It puts the phone in view and in a useable position.
Though it looks like it is covering the air vent, I still get plenty of ventilation.
Thanks for the info and website.

      • Very firm fit. It actually clips in and around the dashboard facia. No movement at all. Extremely quick delivery as well....3 days to Sydney.

          • Ahh siggy a whole new world of interfacing!

Have you tried the iphone with an ipod cable? I have mine going through the video/audio so I can get all music from iphone. Not tried anything with video yet.

            • Yep, ipod iterface still works, despite getting a warning saying it is a non compatible accessory (do you want to activate airplane mode?). Sounds great. Wish I had the DXX 7039 so I could see the graphics as well though. The 6039 can not be upgraded. Still pretty cool.

              • Bump... as there's some great ideas in this thread for those that haven't read it yet.

To placate the missus and help her to store her things, I'm off to K-mart tomorrow to try and find those little baskets to fit into the centre console.

                • Tell us if they're still at Kmart - our console is filled with all sorts of stuff already and I've been keeping my eye out.

Yes and no. They still appear to be available, however, I only found on of these (medium sized) on the shelf. :?

I took this one and it fits fine by itself. Handy to keep some items easily accessible from within the console rather than having to reach right down and search amongst everything else.

Perhaps you may have some better luck at your store. 8)

Just did this with my IPF 900XS lights. So simple and effective.

Just interested to know if anyone has bought a Homemaker Lifestyle mini crate from Kmart (or elsewher) lately.

Was just reading about the crate and rang the local Kmart without success.

As a last resort if anyone has the crate could you have a look to see if it has an Id code on it.
                            Thanks
                            Pedro
