Just the other day we clocked over a minor milestone for our late model 2008 Prado. We have reached 60,000km. We have owned our Prado for 2 years now and when we got her she only had just over 10,000km.

Just gave her a service and she is happy.

We have a 99 at work, CEOs prado 90 series mannual gxl and it has been parked from every day duties at 460,000 km due to commpresion issues, no longer will start on the key needs to be roll started

The boss would have done over 50,000km In low range towing the camper trailer and has towed a trailer for most of its life at work.
Not a bad vehicle although the leather steering wheel is the only wear mark inside, having worn through to steel!!
I will get a photo of the odo when I get a chance next.

Our Prado has just clicked over 200000km.

So far Ive had a really go run.

Apart from regular servicing the only things that have needed replacing is toyota shocks,lower control arm bushes and ball joints,tie rod ends,cv boots and Im about to replace the leaking tappet cover gaskets while I check the valve clearances.

Our prado is now at 250000km.

I have replaced the starter motor

The tappet cover gaskets that I replaced at 200000 are good but its still weeping oil.It seems that the covers are porous which is really hard fix
