      I also met K Rudd in a bar in Bulimba before he was PM.

      He is actually a nice guy to talk to!

            I breached security at the Offices of the Prime Minister in the ACT back in about 1982. The old federal copper was asleep in his broom-closet so I snuck past and delivered some top secret papers to Malcolm Fraser. After a chat and a cup of tea, the federalie finally woke and asked what was going on. I told him I was here to guard the PM - I was dressed in my army pollies. Apparently I didn't have the correct pass to get in. That never stopped me though.

                  Spent the last 20 minutes talking with Roon Moon. I saw his rig and van and said to Trish that's a good looking setup and I should go talk to the guy as he looks likes he knows where his towel is, it took a while for the penny to drop as to who he was.

                  Nice bloke and we are doing the Whaleback mine tour with him and Viv this morning.

                                I've met Lenny Henry (comedian from The Young Ones and other shows) Monica Trapaga (Playschool) Greedy Smith Reg Mombasa Rex Hunt (bought him and Steve Starling back from Lord Howe. Kept him in the flight deck the whole flight. One of the funniest bastards I've met) Wilbur Wilde Frankie Holden Andrew Peacock (yes he had a tan) Kate Ceberano (almost kicked she and her band off the plane) Bronwyn Bishop Peterpilot (well, I used to work with him) It's an occupational hazard.
