In 2004 I won a trip to London to the Premiere of Spiderman 2 in London with tickets to the after party included. At the party I met a couple of the actors, Alfred Molina and Kirsten Dunst. Lenny Kravitz was also there but I didn't know who he was at the time LOL. Unfortunately the only photo I got was of Kirsten Dunst.

While traveling around London I even got to see the Queen but those photos are on print film somewhere and I have yet to find them. It was an amazing experience and the biggest prize I've ever won, tickets for 2 to London, the premiere, after party, and a week's accommodation in the heart of London (right behind Trafalgar Square).

I met Rex Hunt once at a book signing, no pics though.

I WAS going to brag about meeting Merv Hughes in a NZ resort (had quick chat and he even brought some fish that he caught to my now-wife and I to try) and seeing Pope John Paul II in Rome... THEN I saw this post.....
              Cheers

I met Naomi Watts at the cinema in Sydney. I walked out of the bathroom area as she was walking in and i held the door for her. I had no idea who she was, and wondered why there was a crowd of people looking at me. It was only after my wife told me who she was, and that she was there for her new movie, that i realised i wasn't the centre of attention.

I tried to run back into the toilet and get her photo... and that's the story about how i got my restraining order.

Ok I have met Jackie Chan and his parents . His parents heaps but they have both died now .
My father used to work in the American embassy in Canberra and that's where Jackie's parents lived and worked .
They used to come to our house and cook tea for my family .
I made it to Jackie's mums funeral but missed his fathers which i am pissed about my parents said that Jackie asked where was I when I didn't turn up at his fathers .

I have a photo somewhere of me, Skaifey and Lowndes at the Sydney motor show. They were right next to that beautiful piece of art that was the Monaro.

Long story, but my little sister has sat and chewed the fat with Lenny Kravitz (who did not attend his back stage party at the time) and on separate occasions Madonna and had dinner with Boy George.

She is ballsy and just makes it happen!

Lenny has a reputation for good taste - do you happen to have any pics of your sister MLC?

Must restrain myself on making any comment regarding MLC's sister chewing my fat....

My sister who lives in west Belfast played host to Brad Pitt in 1996. He turned up unannounced at the local republican club and said he was doing a movie, which turned out to be ’The Devil’s Own’ playing an IRA man and wanted to get the character right including an authentic northern Irish accent, not the cheesy fake ones you normally get. So she and others tutored him in the sayings and nuances of the dialect. Must say he got it down pat. He stayed with her in working class area and spent a few weeks with them, not in a fancy city hotel. Shows how dedicated he was to go to that length. Sorry I don’t have the photos to show. I had gone over to visit but just missed him.
                            [SIZE=1]Cheers Jim.

My job has been good to me regards meeting the occasional famous person...

                                Kevin Rudd (B4 PM)
                                Mick Doohan
                                Allan Border
                                Ian Healy
                                Anna Bligh
Joe Bugner (when I was a wee lad courtesy of my Dad)
                                Steve Irwin
                                Berrick Barnes
                                Mike Goldman
                                'The Broncos'
Warwick Capper (my god!! that was interesting!!!!!!)

Oh, and I should add Jonathan Brown (for Mrs Hutch )

Plenty of high flyers and the decision makers in big business but K Rudd and Mick Doohan were probably the most memorable of the people. One was a great experience and one not so great... I'll let you guess which way around
                                Cheers, Leon
There's no such thing as a wrong turn... it's just the scenic route!
