I think someone must have intervened with his intervention. Either that or he got half way though the thread and had himself committed.

My possums are all gainfully employed now, especially the ones on covert action. Any ideas how to get the curlews to pay their way? I've got 14 now down the back and they seem to be just standing around.
Yes Norbit generally has a daily hit or two.
Those bloody curlews are a lazy bunch, i'd be starting a competition, a jar of honey & bottle of bundy to the possum who can kill the most curlews. Then you could charge admission to the event. Just tell me when and i'll bring the meat, we can turn it into a bbq. Maybe Bushbasher could bring some of those AA rockets and we can really stir some shit up.

And don't you boys forget it!

          Title duly amended.

Sorry guys for the late post, have literally been out all day. Cleaned out my dear old mum's unit today, she's gone into a nursing home. Who thought one woman could collect so much "stuff" (trying to be polite), then she is in her 80s. And don't start me on the antique food, come the holocaust me and the possums will have plenty of canned goods to wait for the air to clear.

            • On the bright side during the cleanup today I did manage to wrestle a nice steel handled shovel away from the other seagulls (aka siblings), might come in handy for future 4WD trips.

Nope just PP these days, I used to be on a few sports bike forums but it all gets too much sometimes, so this time around I decided one at a time.

Fido you should have used the shovel to swat the seagulls, then you could have taken whatever you wanted.

Drat! I didn't think of that. I could have also used said shovel to bury the evidence.

A few. My daily driver isn't the 150 so there are two that are relevant, I mountain bike and kayak and hike too. No doubt there are some creased brows wondering the influx of possums. And to be honest on one or two I haven't identified a use for the venerable possum but that is merely a matter of time.

                    • Have just finished changing out the undersink water filter cartridge in our kitchen, got tired of waiting for HWNL to do it. Worst part was laying on the floor to do it, only way I could reach everything; the possums hadn't mopped it yet.

Should have worked fine, I am guilty of using the cat to mop up some water spillage in the past.

Now you're thinking!! No wonder you're our chief possum slapper.

Hey NO PAIN NO GAIN!! If they want in they can put their hands on the wall and spread em.
Bendman Q branch will get on to building you a special probe, we may need to purchase a guinea pig as Norbit is shaking his head for testing this one.

Last night I dropped a big bowl of lamb rogan josh in the kitchen, I caught the bowl mid drop but the curry went EVERYWHERE, it was down the cupboard door, the front of the dishwasher and in a big pile on the floor, anyway the split second after it happened the dog was in to investigate, knowing how spicy it was I told the dog "no" so she wouldn't eat it, but as I was cleaning it up I thought to myself "this shit is everywhere I need help" so yes you guessed it "Here Monti" she nailed heaps of it before stopping and looking at me with what seemed like a mixed expression of "what the f@#k" and "But why would you do this to me?".
I did feel a bit bad but it really helped with the cleanup process and I gave her some milk with natural yoghurt mixed in after to help her out.
