Didn't Matty & Loz say all mentions of possums outside this thread would be summarily dealt with no exceptions? Much as I appreciate the love I don't want the blame for these transgressions directed our way either.

Hey Biggles..While i love the Spit..this would have be my second fav..the Mossie.

Now, I've been in hiding, but living vicariously through the rest of you but these are awesome. My mum lives very near where one of the last flying Spitfires is stationed. Literally within site of the end of the runway. Very occasionally we get to see it take off. Magic!

Hell of a crosswind or a failed engine perhaps? Don't think mine was that bad, certainly didn't bounce like that. Remember I'm an expert now, having flown a 737-800 once :-p

Love the Mossie too, what's better than a Rolls Royce Merlin? 2 Rolls Royce Merlins! I like the Lancaster too, but lacks the speed of the Spit and Mossie. Bigger isn't always better

You think you're old, I'm falling to bits! News from the MRI is not the best, have facet joint degeneration at L5/S1 along with disc slippage and bulge. Have to have a steroid injection under CT guidance next week, brings tears to the eyes just thinking of it. But hey, I'm the KLC SWMBO and I'm tough so I shall soldier on like a Codral as they say.
