Im not Bogged - I've just lost traction. . . . . and now I'm showing the wife why I bought those Maxtrax, and the tyre deflator, and the compressor, and the bullbar, and the winch, and a lot of other goodies I've hidden in the Prado

        • #1 son's car is in hospital getting an oil leak fixed under warranty. So he is borrowing the 05 Rodeo ute (that I am trying to find time to dispose of to greener pastures). I picked up some cheap muddies (for #2 son's 08 Rodeo) and somehow these were fitted over the weekend to the older ute. It would appear that there has been significant road damage and erosion where he drives to and from work because the Rodeo comes home covered in mud everyday. Odd because I drive on a lot of the same roads and they seem fine to me.................

                    • I have to admit that I haven't tried using the factory jack since the trolley jack is 13,567.9 times easier to use at home.

                      • Unpacking the car and camper after 5 weeks driving around Oz is a pain. Now I have to clean it all. Another 3 days of my holidays wasted followed by 2 days to fix all the broken bits.
