Just another exercise in just how stupid and gullible the general public is. People actually agreed whole heartedly to the licence fees because the gubbermint promised to use the money to help recreational fishing.

Now that I didn't know,when did they spring that one ? musta been the same time they started asking FOUR buck's for a can of coke in Rocky AND Mandurah too, some one's definitely having a laugh and it;s on you if you pay it personally I told her to put it back just out of principal . we've all got to make living but com'on it's bad enough paying a $100 an hour for a tradie but some thing's should be cheap, like fishing or eating fishnchips and being able to afford to wash it down with a coke, geez now look youv'e got me into grumpy old man mode................

"THE HOUSTON HERALD NEWSPAPER" IN HOUSTON , TEXAS

MARCH 5th, 2009
Last Thursday Night Around Midnight, A Woman From Houston , Texas Was Arrested,

Jailed, And Charged With Manslaughter For Shooting A Man 6 Times In The Back

As He Was Running Away With Her Purse. ~

The Following Monday Morning, the Woman Was Called In Front Of The Arraignment Judge, Sworn In,

And Asked To Explain Her Actions.

The Woman Replied, "I Was Standing At The Corner Bus Stop

For About 15 Minutes, Waiting For The Bus To Take Me Home After Work.

I Am A Waitress At A Local Cafe...

I Was There Alone, So I Had My Right Hand On My Pistol,

That Was In My Purse, That Was Hung Over My Left Shoulder.

All Of A Sudden I Was Being Spun Around Hard To My Left.

As I Caught My Balance, I Saw A Man

Running Away From Me With My Purse.

I Looked Down At My Right Hand And I Saw That My Fingers Were Wrapped Tightly

Around My Pistol. The Next Thing I Remember Is Saying Out Loud,

"No Way Punk! Your Not Stealing My Pay Check And Tips."

I Raised My Right Hand, Pointed My Pistol

At The Man Running Away From Me With My Purse,

And Squeezed The Trigger Of My Pistol 6 Times!

When Asked By The Arraignment Judge,

"Why Did You Shoot The Man 6 Times?

The Woman Replied Under Oath, "Because, When I Pulled The Trigger The 7th Time, It Only Went Click."

The Woman Was Acquitted Of All Charges. She Was Back At Work, At The Cafe, The Next Day!

i grew up with guns as part of everyday life on a rabbit infested farm, i got my first slug gun for xmas when i was 8, by the age of 10 grandad would send me out with 7- 22 bullets to get 6 rabbits for the dogs dinner, so i learned to shoot well and make shots count, this made me safer with guns and i learned respect for them, the accidents occur when people don't identify the target or shoot in a direction that they dont know what is behind it. i think educating on gun safety is better than just banning them, as there arn't many alternatives for pest control and if some fruit loop wants to harm people they will do it even guns arn't available.
