I almost got caught like that once when the b-double driver changed his mind about turning right. Luckily in the Prado I was able to mount the steep embankment and dodge him. Not so lucky the poor bloke behind me who also assumed he was turning right with his right indicators blinking.

Probably just a dodgey Irish tradie working here on a tourist visa anyway.

Certainly a dopey van driver - he got collected by the trailer (not the truck) so I'm really not sure what he was doing at the time. The truck must have been most of the way around the corner before he dove down the inside...

And when they report it on the news it will sound like the truck driver was at fault!

Worst thing is who pays for the lost income for the truck driver. That dopey van driver should, but unfortunately the truck driver will end up the loser.

Unfortunately most people think those signs are just for show
Going around a left corner the Truck driver will usually loose sight of the rear end in his mirrors, so if you sneak up the inside he won't see you.
Cheers Andrew

This happened outside work today. I guess it's why the truck has "do not overtake turning vehicle" signs on it!

Dead-set. This bloke has a Toyota Mate!
Same Intersection, 80 Series, big tyres, big flares and no rear bumper:
At least the 80 has a lift...
