G'day,
I've been away for a week so I haven't been playing :-(
But I'm pretty sure this is in the South East Forests National Park (NSW). Is it Alexander's Hut?

How about this?

(or if it has to have a Prado in it this one!)

Same spot - just a different side

Aparently there's another one of those near Caves Beach NSW. It will reach my house a little earlier.

That's the one Peter. Apparently it's the oldest naturally burning coal seam in the world (at around 6,000 years). Interestingly what looks like erosion in the mid distance is actually ground subsidence caused by the underground being burnt to ash and collapsing.
It's heading south at about a metre a year, so at that rate it'll be threatening my house in about 250,000 years......

That would make it "Burning Mountain" just off the New England Highway north of Scone. We did the walk one day on our way past.
Oh dear, now I have to try and find something again!

I noticed that, but cant recall ever visiting such a place. But the beauty of this thread is I might be able to add it to my ever expanding list of places to visit............ once I find out where it isOriginally posted by spike69 View PostI know the scenery is pretty generic, but the smoke coming from the ground should be a bit of a giveaway......
Cheers Andrew

Yes Louth is correct, we also camped by the bridge on the way to the 2011 GTG.

OK I'll say Louth. I camped by the river there in my youth many years ago and I'm sure the bridge looked like that........After a couple of beers at Shindys pub though I might have been seeing things.....
