Condolences to you and yours Bushbasher. It's a bit of a double edged sword isn't it? Sadness at the loss but comfort in the knowledge their suffering is over. I lost my grandmother to a second bout of cancer 30 years after her first. Thankfully it was in peacefully in her sleep too. Our thoughts are with you at this time

Paypal not releasing the almost $400 paid to me for an eBay sale...even though the buyer has the item, and has since Monday...

Condolences Dave. Our family is preparing for Mum's departure soon. Despite knowing it will happen, having the ability to say last goodbyes and prepare, it still is difficult.Originally posted by Bushbasher View PostDad passed away peacefully in his sleep yesterday surrounded by all the family. Condolences. May they rest in peace. My mother succumbed to dementia in September. I feel your losses.

All the best for you and your family.Originally posted by Bushbasher View PostDad passed away peacefully in his sleep yesterday surrounded by all the family. The suffering is over. RIP dad.
My FIL finally lost his battle with Multiple Myaloma (after 11 years) in October. It was a tough time, but the family know that his suffering, and in part, theirs, is over.

My condolences Bushbasher. I guess a mixture of sadness and relief for the family from what you've posted before.Originally posted by Bushbasher View PostDad passed away peacefully in his sleep yesterday surrounded by all the family. The suffering is over. RIP dad.
I reckon even when you know its coming, it's still a shock to the system. Took me a while to fully realise the impact, dads are such a cornerstone of our lives.

It was $1.09 for unleaded down my way yesterday. That's the 4c off price but with my staff discount and spending $20 in store I can get another 14c a litre off that. Too bad I'm still full up from the last fill!Originally posted by Spilsy View Post$1.15 is fairly close to $1...

$1.15 is fairly close to $1...Originally posted by Bushbasher View PostPetrol prices tipped to be close to a dollar by Christmas. Yeah, right. Yesterday, ULP was about $1.15. Today it's $1.33. And diesel has hardly budged and has stayed pretty constant around $1.34 - $1.39 for ages. Thieving rogues.
Here in Benalla we dont see many fuel price changes...its been consistent for the last 4 months (and its only moved slightly in the last 12).
I dont buy my diesel here...Wangaratta (40km up the road) is an average of 6c/litre cheaper, and Seymour (100km down the road) is an average of 10c/litre cheaper. With the big tank I have the luxury of waiting till I'm in either of these locations before I fill up.
