So I go into Telstra shop to report that they've been charging me $50 a month for a service I no longer have. I upgraded my 4G mobile hot spot and renewed the plan. They gave me a new device and dropped the monthly cost. Then I discover that the old service hasn't been cancelled. Initially the sales girl was quite helpful, making several calls and finally announcing okay that service will be shut down within 24 hours and you will no longer be charged for it. Great, but what about my refund? Oh, you'll have to complain to Telstra. I thought that was what I was doing. No, you can't do that here you have to go to Telstra. Where are they? Oh, just ring up. Crap I say. I want to speak to the manager. Floor manager finally comes out, spends 10 seconds on the computer and says all fixed, you'll get a credit of $150 on your next bill. I say why couldn't the sales girl do that and save us all the grief? Oh she doesn't have access. I say why couldn't she get you then to flick the switch? They have absolutely no idea of customer service.

Young kids begging outside shopping centres. What's with this young generation? The other day some pimply faced 12 year old fronts me and asks for ciggies. I don't smoke so nick off. Today I get harassed by a couple of 10 year olds asking for a couple of bucks so they can catch a bus home. One was on a bike and the other on a little scooter. I decline and keep an eye on them. A few minutes later they emerge from Woollies with bottles of coke in shopping bags. So, you have money for coke but not for the bus. Time to move in as they approach and old lady near the ATM. Buzz off you pair of ferals before I kick you in the rear end.

More very bad workmanship. It went in for the Injector cse, although the injectors were replaced, they still went in.

No clamps put back on 1,2&3 fuel pipe, those clamps are worth $100.

No.4 line, clamp, bolt discarded. ( I unplugged vacuum to get pic.)

Intercooler mounting bolt lost, & plastic cover bolts lost.
So who knows what important stuff got forgotten & lost?

That was a customers vehicle, yes he took it back to them, because the clamps are $100. They have ordered parts.

Glad he took it back ####, that pisses me of when people pay good money. I remember when I had our VX S pack commodore and had a miss. Was brand new only few weeks old, took it in turned out to be the heat shields that around the plugs. Yea they fixed the problem they through out all 6 heat shields. I took it back the next day and told them to put the 6 back on and put the modified ones on that Holden now supply. Was so pissed off including the scuff they put under the front skirt of the front bumper bar especially after I told them and left a note on the dash not to be driven. Then I had a call from my mate who owns a car yard around the corner from the dealer ring me and up me for driving like dickhead past his yard, I said um Alex im at work and my car is in getting fixed, he said yea well it's fixed cause I could hear the super charger whining as it went past my yard at an unknown high speed. And my wife wonders why I'm so anal about leaving my cars any where to be worked on. Don't get me started on the prick that was caught via my own dash cam flogging the arse out of my Prado after having the suspension lift done.

I remember those speed hump jump suspension testers, I remember the nuts on top just sitting there, i never forget this crap, there's so much of it.

Your not wrong. Getting very hard to find a trust worthy mechanic some times. I am lucky and have found one 5 minutes walk from my work so I'm lucky. You could eat your lunch off the workshop floor he keeps it that clean and best thing he's the only one working there so if there are any screw up he's got no one else to blame... Wish you lived near me lol
