      Those bloody Poms have made the pitch like a kids sand pit on purpose, I think our boys are going to need a lot of luck these next couple of days :evil:

        Poms 240 ahead at the moment with 7 wickets left. I reckon we need around the 400 and the Aussies are praying for rain

                C'mon things weren't that bad, Australia showed real passion in the last innings and cerainly had England worried. Pontings wicket was key after he went it became a formality.
                I admire Ricky Ponting and dont think he deserves the stick he is getting, he'd certainly stroll into the English side. He even had the balls to wind up the crowd after the match so good on him.

                After getting an absolute cricketing lesson in the last Ashes series and losing 5-0 England deserve a good deal of credit for this performance. Australia were not at their best by a long shot but the Poms raised their game and well deserved the win.....Although Im still in shock that we won :shock:

                                I wouldnt worry about the news going on about it much longer, they only comment when the Aussies are winning something. I doubt the Ashes will get much more of a mention now
