I havent reserved it for just me. I'm just going to go where I want at the time. MLC wants to join but can only do something from the Friday night. I wouldn't mind the mallee loop drive but its 650ks and takes a number of days, probably have to start Friday morning at the latest.

Do you think mossies would be bad up the river - Loveday - at the moment?

No real Mozzie problem at the moment, the river is dropping fairly quickly so that might change as the riverflats become lakes rather than a river. I wouldn't mind betting you wont get a river camp at Loveday this late in the picture, but they have a large campground near the tavern!

      Cheers Andrew

if anyone knows anything about loveday or wants to look into it further than that would be good. I think they have 15km of river front you can camp on, but not all areas have drop toilets etc.

Just found out yesterday that the club has scheduled soccer presentations on the Friday night, 30th, so I certainly wouldn't be able to do anything before the Saturday. I haven't planned anything still. Happy to tag along with others if they have any ideas, but I won't be 'planning' anything as such as I don't really have the time at the moment.

yep, that is one way to get there. I prefer via Clare, for two reasons: bakery and wineries
