    Yeah

    Thanks Robert (and all) for another fun day out. Certainly had some challenging moments and not too many vehicles would of got away without some battle scars. From memory casualties include:

    My front bumper has a hefty dent
    Rob's back bumper had a crack
    Macaroon1 and Fabes had some extensive side step re-engineering

    Look forwarding to the next one.

      I have posted up the videos now into the trip report as well.

      Trev, after after cleaning the mud off and closer inspection, I raise your hefy dent in the front bumper with my cracked rear bumper and both rear mudflaps broken....

        What another great day out at City View. Robert thanks again for organising the trip, I had a blast and the kids had fun too.

        Just a few photos to add.

        Firstly after my 'mishap' with my camera I did manage to pull it somewhat apart and dry it out.

        I left it all week apart to ensure it dried out and put it back together this afternoon. I did manage to turn it on and download the photos but the poor camera has too much dirt and grit in the lens mechanism and is struggling. Still takes photos but doubt it will last.

              I will be looking out on the forum for an outing. I want to try out the diff locks and see how they go.

                Yes it will go well. I don't have diff locks and this vehicle ever surprises me where it can go. On the last two trips at City View there was a number of very difficult and slippery areas we traverse and even the Prado's with standard tyres got through.

                Look out for the next adventure and join in.

                    Just a 13 month bump here but any1 been to City View lately or keen to go? I'm thinking next weekend (22nd/23rd) or the Saturday after (29th).
                    I'm keen to test out these MT STZ's.
                    2007 GXL V6 - ARB Bullbar with LED lights, snorkel, extractors, 2 1/4" dual exhaust, K&N filter, dimpled/slotted rotors, headrest dvd players, Ebay Satnav/reverse camera, GME 3100TX, Tigerz11 Side awning on custom brackets with Maxtrax mounts, 300W Invertor, ARB Underbody protection, Lightbar and STZ 265/70 tyres.
                    Wish list in order I'll get them: Sliders, 2" lift, E-locker, Winch bar with winch.

                          Hello PP members.
                          I have signed up today after searching for a 4WD club and coming accross this thread. What a shame I didn't find it last week before your trip to City View. Oh well - thems the brakes. I'm assuming any further gathering would be under the "Trip planning" forum ?
