I'm definitely not going to a mud prone spot like the Watagans after the recent weather. Stocko would be ideal, but I'm unlikely to be available this weekend

Is there anywhere that isn't too slippery that would test out my air-locker as it's not really needed on the sand!Cheers, Brad

No shortage of places to test the locker at NewnesOriginally posted by braddo View PostIs there anywhere that isn't too slippery that would test out my air-locker as it's not really needed on the sand!
While there's plenty of places to get stuck at Newnes, from I hear about the Watagans its far more manageable even after heavy rain.

Maybe that's a better idea then, or maybe the following weekend if the weather holds out!Originally posted by williade View PostNo shortage of places to test the locker at Newnes

Everyone seems to have gone quiet about this weekend!
If I'm going to go anywhere it's probably going to have to be Sunday and Sunny Corner seems a bit far. Anyone still considering The Watagans???Cheers, Brad

Ourimbah State Forest would be the closest to you I think Brad. All the good spots around Sydney have been gated off years ago unfortunately!
I'm still heading to Sunny Corner on Sunday.Cheers,

Thanks Glenn, but I don't know anything about Ourimbah State Forest! I don't know Declan, haven't heard anything since Monday!
Looking at some old trip reports, Ourimbah State Forest looks interesting though............Cheers, Brad

Hi Braddo,
Still waiting on any details of the Watagans trip but have nothing yet. Would be happy to catch up for a drive through Ourimbah and give the diff lock a test. I can remember a couple of the tracks from last time.
You interested in the Watagans trip if it happens?

I have a totally free weekend, no wife, no work, just me, have to get out somewhere, Saturday or Sunday or both. Currently baby sitting a 3 & 5 year old and keen to leave right now but not bring them with me.
Maybe Stockton one day, bush the other or the opposite way around, dont care, have to escape.
