Looked like a great trip. Great to see how many Prado owners having a go. Unfortunately I was unable to make it, couldnt get out of basketball training.

I think justo came closest - he kicks that grande in the guts. I want some video from iside his car to see what his poor dog is doing when he is gunning it.
Some of us didn't even try ops:
It was a great day - our first day out in the prado. Was great to meet everyone and thanks for all the advice and encouragement. And thanks to leachy for bringing the bbq.
Great photos! Will get some up soon too.

actually, I just checked my video - I reckon leachy and justo shared the honours.
I've got low res video http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...ird%2024-6-07/. You just have to turn your head (taken with the digital still camera)
Sim - there are a few pics of our maroon prado already earlier in this thread and I'll stick some up when I downsize them. And, if you go to photobucket link above, there are a couple and more coming - just have to be patient...trying to get the ones in the sun. I wasn't sure about the maroon either, but I couldn't turn down the car and the colour grew on me very quickly. Now I wouldn't be seen in white or silver

Yep, biggest learning from the day was:
Greatest benefit from difflock is gained when compressor and difflock are both turned on !! ops:
As far as diff lock (when turned on) versus traction control, I think I was probably a dead heat. Neither of us got anywhere the other couldn't.EX-Prado Owner
