120 Prado shift lever repair kit

Today i got a flappy gear shift, and after taking everything apart, i found out that where the bullet goes is broken will this repair kit work or do i have to get a new plastic piece? Whats the difference between this bullet/spring vs the original, and why i dont have to replace the track aswell?

Yes your payment came through. Not sure about Auspost now since they reduced their delivery frequency. I'm guessing about 5 days from Adelaide.

I have just paid for a kit from your paypal link on the first page, after reading through this thread I'm pretty sure your kit will sort out my loose shift stick which only just happened on Fraser Island in the last few days. I'll let you know how I go after I install the kit, would you have a rough idea how long a kit will take to be delivered to the Gold Coast please??
