Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your help with this, I fitted the shift repair kit this morning and it works great. The step by step instructions were a big help and saved me considerable angst ( as I would have probably tried to remove the entire console rather than just the shift area). This is a great simple repair (60 minutes) at a reasonable cost.

Hi Guys,
I have a 2006 auto and I'm getting a rattling noise from the shifter when I'm stopped in D at idle and also when i go over some bumps i can feel a bit of vibration/knocking in the stick. Could the be caused by wear around the bullet or should i be looking elsewhere like gearbox mounts etc...Comment
