    Second owner from 40,000km - Now 96,000kms

    Fully rebuilt 1HZ/1HDT Factory turbo diesel engine conversion (fitted at 70,000kms) with Garret Turbo and Safari front mount Intercooler, 55mm Alloy radiator & 3 inch exhaust. Engine has less than 30,000kms!

    Fully dyno tuned by Roo Systems (formerly AMMS in Brisbane) with 160rwhp at 16psi Boost with only 480C Post turbo EGT. 12-14lts/100kms

    Religiously served every 5000km

    3 inch lift – Dobinson Shocks, Lovells Coils and 2 degree castor correction

    40% tread Cooper STT mud terrains - 285/75 R16 x 5 on GXL alloy rims

      The engine is built up based off the 1HDT.

      Injectors (with a different spray pattern to suit Turbo)
      Valves (with upgraded springs)
      Fuel Pump (modified by Cooma Diesel Services to suit Turbo)
      Precision international Turbo pistons

      Garrett GT3271 Turbo with a Safari Front Mount intercooler. This turbo is the same turbo in the Safari Turbo kit so it uses the same split pulse manifold which helps decrease turbo lag.

      The engine was installed at 70,000kms and was done by the team at Fraser Motors. I have plenty of pictures of the conversion if you’re interested.

      Tuned up in brisbane by AMMS (or Roo Systems) It runs at 16psi, with EGT's post turbo maxing out at 480 deg C. Highway driving see's 12lts/100km



      Gear box is the standard R series box, however it has the larger 12 inch clutch to suit the 1HDT flywheel. The clutch is a Safari Tuff clutch, which again was fitted during the engine conversion. Gear box shifts perfect with no crunches, grinding, doesn’t pop out of 5th gear, any towing was always done it 4th gear. I have always had full confidence in the box.

        Mate, looks like a nice rig. As much as I love my Prado, if I was starting over that would be right up my alley. Seems a fair price considering what has gone into it. Good luck selling it.

            It's a HZJ105 which is the base model with barn doors, vynal interior, etc so it's a solid axle too.
