Hi all,
This might appear as a real dumbo question. I've recently fitted a cabin air filter to our LC120 Prado and it got me to thinking.
I seem to remeber someone once saying that you should drive on dirt roads with the cabin air always selected to "fresh", even when following someone elses dust, to maintain positive pressure in the cabin to prevent dust being sucked in through the seals and elsewhere.
This doesn't sound right to me, even with the cabin air filter, having it on fresh when following someone surely is going to eat dust.
I always use fresh unless:
What do others do? Just curious.
I ended up with more dust in the Prado than I expected after a dirt trip through Hill End a couple of weekends ago, hence I chased up the cabin air filter (see http://www.pradopoint.com/viewtopic.php?t=84) and this is why I'm wondering about the use the recirc.
Cheers all,
Drew.

I always use fresh unless:
- It's >35°C OAT
When I'm in slow traffic
When I'm following a stinky car with an oil burning problem
Or when I'm following/passing someone on the dirt
What do others do? Just curious.
