Stopped stressing about engine dying (it'll happen when it happens), and hit some local forest fire trails for a few kms. Had a blast! Will be going back out tomorrow too.

Awesome, i didnt know they came in orange. I now have an overwhelming urge to upgrade the turn signals... and brake lights if they are available in red.
Yep with mine, I just asked the seller for the orange ones. I can't remember but I think I saw them in red as well

Not bad! I had a Honda come into my workshop with that many Kms on factory front pads and it still had about 4mm of meat left on it!

They are a T10 globe, there are cheaper ones but i chose these because they have a lens on the end like a torch beam plus leds around the side to use the reflector to give the light some spread as well.

To replace you undo the two 10mm bolts, and then the light is held in by 2 clips. So you just pull the whole light assembly rearwards to unclip it. I'm really happy with the upgrade, much more light. I will try and get a pic tonight.

I done the famous Hilux washer jet upgrade, what a huge difference that made!

Also upgraded the reverse light globes to some higher output LED's to throw a bit more light out back when launching the boat. Fixed the left indicator in the sovereign bar, the way Toyota spliced it in to the factory loom was very ordinary.

Under the guards I used the Septone bitumenised chassis black. On the chassis rails and axles I used a Dulux metal satin black. All painted by brush, took a while.

    Hey Dave,

What kind of paint did you use?

    Hi Bill
When I say replace it I meant put it back on the Prado after removing it to clean out the trapped crud.
I have had it off before to belt out some rock damage incurred during some adventurous 4WDing.
    Cheers
