Haha I come from a background of fiddling with rice burners (mainly turbo Toyotas) and I have a shocking history of ripping things out for weight reduction.... But the ravages of time have tamed me (wife/kids). Camping and road trips here we come.

Don't have too many grand plans just yet but probably:

The paint is good but needs some wax... slight clear cote fade in parts but no peeling

Need to fix the bit of plastic trim over the drivers side step (I think I'll have to take the step off to get to the clips?)

I'm a sucker for a nice sound system: Bluetooth head unit, 5 channel amp under the drivers seat, 6x9 splits front, 6" 2 way rear and hopefully a 12" sub mounted in the boot, although I don't want to hack into the trim too much... Might have to make do with a small sub box then at least I can remove if needed.

Bull bar, because I have some Great Whites from my old work ute that need something to bolt on to. I'm thinking xrox but they are a bit P plate Rockingham hilux chic.. But they are cheaper than ARB etc, and lighter which I like. Not too fussed about brute strength I don't plan on hopping over rocks any time soon.

2" Lift kit... Good brands anyone?

    Awning

Maybe UHF, I like the idea of a DIN mount so it's under the head unit.

Down the track maybe dual batteries, fridge etc if I think it will get some use. Never really understood the point of mega heavy drawers in the back but each to their own.

Mechanical stuff I don't think there's much to do other than general maintenance. Might add a tranny cooler and swap the tranny fluid but at 150kms it is probably still good? Anyone selling a TRD supercharger kit? Do 2JZs fit in?? OK back to reality....

Sorry to bore you all this list was mainly for my benefit!

Never mind the list when you remove the second row as well

haven't done much other than take the back seats out and trying to wax out the lightly oxidized paint.

This arvo i installed a set of Kaon bash plates, they are really well made with recessed bolts and fitted up no issues.

No posts in this one for a while.

Today i fitted up a TPMS to all 5 tyres with internal sensors, so far it's working well. Tomorrow i will set it up properly, simulate a flat etc and get the alarms setup.

Well it was the end of an era yesterday as I had to have the front windscreen replaced due to a large stone hit which means I have now lost my Pradopoint sticker that was across the top that I have had on there since 2012.

I had a Berlina 5 speed, non turbo very rare in that combination, best of luck with it.
