That looks great, can you also post up a side on shot please. Just want to see how the black bar goes with the silver paint.
    Cheers

Its never very hard to get it dirty. Just find a bog hole or track, and the young bloke knows that its not hard to twist my arm. Well ive taken a few more shots from most angles. If anyone wants any other angle just shout out.

This is truly a superb product Andrew. Best one on the market I think. I'm surprised everyone seems to be going with the jerry + spare? I would have thought the 2 spares was the go, especially given how much fuel is on board already. Great work. I'm hoping to order one of these later in the year. Jo can have a good look at the bar at the GTG and then she'll definitely want one!

Thanks Ian, but I wouldn't say everyone is going with the Jerry + spare, its still a pretty exclusive club if you have one of these and currently running 50/50.

Personally I don't use the Jerry can holder for fuel, rather water, great for hand washing and that sort of thing.

            Cheers Andrew

Another great product Andrew, maybe one day i'll have enough cash to buy one. Is it possible to fit the mudflaps or do you loose them, I noticed in the pix there was no rear flaps?

              Cheers

Yes its possible to fit mudflaps, but not the original ones. I don't supply the mudflaps with the bar as I haven't found a really great off the shelf mudflap, so on mine I used some 6mm rubber which comes up quite neat without being spectacular. Given that I live in a small country town without a rubber supplier I figure most people will have better access to more options at better prices than I can get around here.

I'll try and get some pics of mine and throw them up. In Bourkey's case he did actually grab some Mudflaps but they really weren't big enough so we decided not to fit them and he would return them and find a better option.

I do need to fit a light weight chain to mine to stop them grabbing on the wheel when reversing out of a sticky spot, I did tear one off on my Pilbara trip last year, which I was able to refit for the rest of the trip as it only had a slight tear and made a new one since being home.

Callan, I see you are now going to be at the GTG so you should be able to check it all out in person.

                  Cheers Andrew

Yep mud flaps fitted easy, just had to bend up a piece of gal steel to clear the body work but no dramas at all

I popped into Clark rubber and grabbed 1m of 6mm x 300w insertion rubber which I cut at 450mm

I then popped into bunnings and grabbed some
-high tensile steel nut/ bolt combo packets m8 x 40mm
                    - 1 length of flat gal steel bar 2.5mm x 20mmw I think 1m Long
                    - length of gal steel angle bracket with slots 30mmx30mm x 1 m then just measured and cut to the desired length.

Measured, then drilled the holes in the bar, then grabbed the flat steel gal bar, bent it into a dog leg to clear the inside bodywork, then once happy I drilled the holes in it to match the holes in the bar, and the way I had measured the L bracket it allowed me to use the slots that were already cut into it. Still needs a couple of tweeks but am happy so far

                    • A couple of shots of my Mudflaps, as I said just need to add some light chain to keep them off the wheels when reversing out of sticky situations.

                      Cheers Andrew

                        • Added my Mud Flaps today and I'm pretty happy how they turned out. I did the same as Ghost and used Flexistrut/Unistrut 30mm X 30mm slotted angle. We use loads of it at work so it was a no brainer. 8mm cup head bolts, washers and nuts. The 6mm insertion rubber I just grabbed from Clark Rubber. I even gave the cup head bolts a quick spray with some black enamel paint so they aren't so noticeable any more.

                            • Well I will be in the market for one of these, but unfortunately not too soon. Split the rear bar today doing some off-roading (see pic), but with a Cape Trip planned for end of July, funds just will not permit at the moment. I hope you're still making these in 6-9mths time.
