    Measurements with reservoir nearly full.

    Before:
    Front 740 mm
    Rear 780 mm

After (Koni Raid shocks, EFS MD springs):
    Front 768 mm (+28 )
    Rear 833 mm (+53)

I am disappointed about the unequal gain between front and rear.
Does anyone have an explanation? Do I need to correct this (how?)

I never measured the height before the lift kit but after the Premium Billy/ride pro kit the measurements are:

      Front: 780mm
      Rear: 820mm

Front has Sov BB but only single batt and lightforce 240 spotties.

Ride no different to stock suspension, not rigid & body still rolls in corners. Still has standard Grandcraps on it.

It's funny, when they called to tell me the car was ready, they quoted an 80mm lift  I near cr@pped myself, our garage is not what you would call spacious vertically, luckily one of the guys had misread another's scribbles, so the car fits

I got the lovells based on a quoted lift of 40mm and that was going to be pushing it for clearance, so while more height would have been nice, I'm still happy with the way it turned out.

Soveriegn Bar, Dual Battery, under bonnet compressor, Brown Davis Bash Plate
90 litres of petrol, no third row seats.

Front, raised Kings (not HD) and Bilsteins - 790 mm. Shocks 50,000 km's old, springs 1,000 km's old

Rear, raised Dobinsons (not HD) and Bilsteins - 830 mm. Shocks and springs 50,000 old.

The Dobinson front coils had sagged from 795 mm to 770 mm after 50,000 km's which is why the Kings went in.

I fitted the Kings Heavy Duty Fronts first, went to 810 mm, but, they were a little too hard and uncomfortable, they also seemed to be over powering the rebound damping of the shocks.

                                Re: Suspension Measurements 2

Finally got around to replacing the OME884 front springs with a set of 885's (HD) - to cope with the weight of the bar, batteries and winch.

The front measurement had settled to 780 mm with the 884's and was sitting at 820 mm when the 885's went it.

A bit of pot hole settling, on a test drive, and things are now at a very reasonable 805 mm.

                                Cheers
