RJ45 pass through for UHF radio

Okay... so I bought the connector from AMTS (quality product visually), I’m now ready to install the thing. A question - being a nerd, I understand how twisted pair cabling works. However, what I don’t understand is the pin layout for the cable required. Can I simply just get a network cable and plug it into my icon440 and the other end into AMTS’ socket for the hand piece to then connect to? I probably haven’t explained this very well... here’s hoping.
update: simply I just grabbed a standard computer Ethernet cable and it worked. I think I tried to make it more complicated. Great plug AMTS - thanksLast edited by dizy-150; 30-04-2019, 08:25 AM.
