Okay... so I bought the connector from AMTS (quality product visually), I’m now ready to install the thing. A question - being a nerd, I understand how twisted pair cabling works. However, what I don’t understand is the pin layout for the cable required. Can I simply just get a network cable and plug it into my icon440 and the other end into AMTS’ socket for the hand piece to then connect to? I probably haven’t explained this very well... here’s hoping.

Yes a normal straight through Ethernet cable is all that is required.Comment

Yes, you would need an RJ45 splitter but don't think you can use both mics at the same time. 1 mic in either location would work. Here is an example.Originally posted by Robere View Post

Yes not too bad but the UHF Stedi does not have a backlight. If the radio is a GME, the associated genuine GME pass-through XRS-RJ45W1 for a Prado (selected models ..check) has a back light that can be wired in ... add 5-10 dollars..... And comes in Red if you prefer XRS-RJ45R1
