Any changes to fuel consumption for city driving after trans flash?

Yes, you will notice higher consumption around the city as the trani will not select 5th before 60km/hr after the reflash. It also has the occasional tendancy to hold 3rd to long as well whilst under acceleration. In fact I have to override it on the rare occasion to make it choose 4th......

Thanks for posting the Tojo fix for the problem . Mine mostly has been doing it at low speed but it's started to be aparrent at high speed now so it'll be good to get it fixed .

Pause in shift during corners

Hi all. My 2010 gx auto td has a great auto smooth. Shifts well. Real happy but I noticed one strange thing mostly during lower speed turns.
As I accelerate through the corner. The box pauses like its going to kick back a gear but then it doesn't and selects the same gear ???. Fair enough I know this can happen some times but its fairly consistent. If I hit the gas harder it will kick back no worries but the fake kick back thing I'm experiencing is happening a lot so I'm interested in what people think. ??????

thanks guys, mine does this, its build March 2012. I will be getting this looked at at the next service which is due soon. It only does it around 110km/hr after a slight downhill, when it req to acc again.

Not after braking or slower speed.

This makes a lot of sense. I felt this on our work car and no one else could feel it, started thinking it was just me! Since buying my car I felt it again, will defiantly get the dealer to have a look next service.

krypto, that is weird as this definately sounds like the 2400rpm hesitation that's been around since 2010 and was fixed on mine with the reflash.

Had the same problem. Took it in and had the software reflash, problem gone

Mine was at low speed when shifting from second to third gear.. This update fixed it.

Hi Matt, thanks for posting this. I had noticed this a few times and exactly as described in the bulletin. What Krypto describes appears to be at low speed though. I will ask my dealer for the update at the next service. Cheers, Fred
