I used this stuff once at 10,000km ( http://www.chemtech.net.au/cr_fueladditives.html ) after buying my 150 VX demo with 2,300kms on the dash. I was also concerned about the injectors and using any sort of cleaner. This stuff being Australian owned and made gave me some extra confidence, with also having the Toyo service centre attempt to sell me their injector cleaner for my old 120 petrol at the major services of 40,000 and 80,000km. I figured one bottle would not hurt on the new 150. Now that BP ultimate Diesel is in Melbs, that's all I fill up with now. I don't see the need to use any sort of cleaner.

Chemtech diesel power every 5000km just before an oil change.

The mob that changed my injectors suggested not to use additives as overdosing causes deposits on the injectors. I used to use chemtech every tank but backed off a bit after the advice I received.

Myself & other Prado diesel experts don't recommend the use of injector cleaners on 1kd-ftv.

Others I know or service do use things like chemtech, have not had or linked it to causing any issues.

If anything I'd suggest using a cetane booster or lubricant, but that's still in the r&d stages IMO.
I'm trialling a cetane booster myself.

####, BP ultimate has a higher cetane (than the Australian standard) anyway right?

I'm really not sure of cetane levels. I think Aus standard is 46? I think bp is 50+?
I've looked, more than that, I hear dozens of people quoting different things, state to state & very contradictory.
There's lots of myths going around.
Do we trust big companies? Bp or caltex? Shell or Mobil? Or others? I'd like to say yes, but as each year & decade goes by it gets worse,
all they care about is the $$$$$$$$ profit increase!!!!
Apologies to any company that I forgot to exclude, can't think of one in the minute.........

Anyway staying positive, I think bp are as good as any other fuel & if you boost your cetane from whatever it is, in a cost effective way, it's worth it.
Dont buy shell in melbourne unless you would like 5% bio. by the way bio (chook fat) increases cetane.
Some of my customers diesel fuels are treated & boosted 6-7 for under $9.00 a tank, that's 180ltrs.
Stick with premium "keep it clean" or ultimate fuels where possible.
Never fill up when the tanker is at the servo.

The minimum Australian cetane rating standard is 46.
BP Ultimate Diesel has a guaranteed minimum cetane rating of 50. It also contains an anti foaming agent so theoretically less time waiting at the bowser to fill your tank.

Caltex Vortex - can't find anything but other interweb forums say 46

Mobil - can't find anything but their website says "An ultra low sulphur premium quality fuel manufactured to meet Australian Fuel Quality Standards, and suitable for use in all diesel powered engines currently on the road in Australia."
                  Mobil's biodiesel B5 and B20 is rated 46

Have only been using Caltex Vortex Diesel since new, feels pretty good to me.
But after reading the above, will definitely use this tank and fill next time with BP Ultimate Diesel and see how she feels.
                    Hopefully not a placebo effect...

Great answer on the fuel, & dealership oil is another good answer.
I have a Hilux lift kit to do in the morning & a quiet catch up with stuff & organise stuff afternoon so that would be perfect.
                          Talk then.
