Also, what does "Custom command to start burn" mean? Can I force a burn using the SGII? When would I want to do that?

HI, thanks for sorting these codes, and could you tell me: MTH: 000200010000 ( x2 % ) or 000100010000 ( x 1 % ), in the part of DPA, what is the difference between these two? Cheers!

x2 will give you a value of double the x1 value. so for example if your DPF is at 30% ( 0 to 100% ) on x1 it will show 60% full on x2. ( 0 to 200 )

        Sorry, I missed that question

        joejoejoejoe Nudgebar has you covered..

So I tried the DPF temp code again and again. It only gives me a decimal reading.. For example 35.5. Does that mean 355 degrees? Or have I got the wrong code? Im pretty good with this sort of thing, but can work this one out. I just posted a question in the fual ecconomy thread about DPF burns. Maybe I have an issue with my filter.

No worries mate! My scan gauge is on the way. And I will let you know after I installed it if we have the same reading. Cheers!

It should match closely to the EGT code as it is just after the turbo.
I would be expecting to see it around 100-350 when driving and around 400-650 degree when regen in progress.

I normally see 3 digits, not a decimal place... I would recheck the codes you have typed in.
The above codes work for me which I have placed into my SG in a 2018 vehicle.

Is there a toyota specific MAP code? My reading on the scangauge is different compared to techstream. I've got a tune and on scangauge i get 170ish and on techstream i get to 220.

An update about the gauge, my regen starts from DPA 50, ends at DPA 3, which means if you use the code 000200010000 ( x2 % ) instead of
000100010000 ( x 1 % ). It may show you DPA 100 before regen. Because it may be showing different readings in different vehicles. Have a nice day guys!

can you give me the codes for a 2007 vx 1kd 120 diesel? I have tried all the apparently relevant codes in the list from the scan gauge website without success.

The EGT code is driving me nuts...... I am using a Ultragauge and cannot get EGT temp working. I have a 2018 GXL. The last byte of the TXD is 78. When I do a scan of what the car supports, 78 does not appear...... Does anyone have EGT working on a scangauge on MY18 update?

I've given up on Ultragauge, Scangauge has more support.

For EGT1 the codes specified above work for me on my 2018 GXL:

                              EXHAUST GAS TEMP (EGT):
                              TXD 07DF0178
                              RXF 054106780000
                              RXD 3810
                              MTH 0001000AFFD8
