Hi ya 150gxl
When I went there for the first time about 6 years ago or so I'd have safely said yes... but with all the storm damage over the early months of this year I guess there would be a case of common sense prevails...
I drove my usual 'starter track' last December (one I do each time I go there to ease into things) and yes... it's well and truly a green track suitable for stock vehicles. Mind you, any track with the wrong wheel placement can go awry
There's plenty out there to explore... when I did my 4WD'ing course with P7offroad we did a fair distance on tracks that would be suitable for a stock vehicle.
Having said that... the yellow track where I took that shot of McBain...
1st year on it... all the way up in one go with a stock 90 series and balding tyres.
2nd year up it... almost to the top, I think I had new Cooper ST's but no lift... had to be snatched up the last 20 mtrs.
3rd year up it... 2" suspension lift, Cooper ST's... 2/3 the way up it. To much wheel spin... BANG goes the rear diff
4th year up it... all bar two in group turns around as the main track AND the chicken track were suitable only for well modified 4by's... the two that got up was a 80 series, lifted with muddies and a highly modified 100 series.
5th year up it... 2" suspension lift, Cooper ST's, rear ARB Locker... up it un-assisted, no problems
(some grading had been done since the year before)
